Paĺčys Eduard

He is the founder of the website 1863x.com, a collective blog, whose authors analyze the current political and cultural events in Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

On 23 January 2016 Eduard was detained while crossing the Ukrainian-Russian border. Eduard is charged with inciting hostility based on race, nationality, religion, language, or other social affiliation (Art. 130.1 of the Criminal Code), as well as of production and proliferation of pornography (Art. 343 of the Criminal Code).

On 28 October 2016 Minsk City Court sentenced him to 1 year and 9 months of freedom restrictions without sending to prison.
