Zolatava defines and defends the portal's editorial policy. In 2018, Zolotava, alongside with her several colleagues, was detained as a part of the investigation of the “BelTA case”. As of the end of 2018, Belarus's Investigative Committee refused to terminate Zolatava's criminal case.
