In 1994 - 2002 he was director for investments and corporate affairs of the company "Slavneft" (Russia). In 1997 - 2002 he worked as the representative of "Slavneft" in the governing board of the Mazyr refinery. He participated in the creation of "Slavneftebank" (now VTB) and represented the interests of "Slavneft" in its supervisory board. In 2002 he founded and headed the investment company UNITER. In the period 2002-2005 he served as the financial advisor to the investment project of the Mazyr refinery reconstruction. In 2006-2011 he acted as the financial advisor to major projects in real estate, industrial and financial sectors. Since 2012 is the chairman of the board of directors of UNITER.
