For a long time he was engaged in writing and publishing computer literature. In 2009, he became a minority owner of Viaden Media, created by Viktar Prakapenia. After selling the company to Israeli billionaire Teddy Sagi, he began investing in various projects.

One of his most successful investments were MAPS.ME and MSQRD, which were sold to Mail.Ru Group and Facebook. In early 2016, Hurski became a director, and then vice-president of the unit for new products at Mail.Ru Group, but was soon dismissed from the company.

In early October 2016, together with a number of partners, he founded venture fund Haxus.com, which invests in start-ups at an early stage of their development.
