Pielipaś Ihar Vladimirovich

Has a PhD in Economic Science, Associate Professor.
Was Senior Researcher/Research Fellow from 1991 onwards at the Institute of Economics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (1989-1993).
He was one of the founders of the first independent analytical centre in Belarus - the Independent Institute of Socio-Economic and Political Studies, Belarus (IISEPS), where, from 1993-1998, he worked as Deputy Director.
From 1998-2000 - was Head of the Eurasia Foundation in Belarus.
From 2000-2010 - served as Director of the IPM Research Centre. From 2010, was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Research Centre of the Institute for Privatisation and Management.
From 2010-2012 - was Research Fellow at the Belarusian Economic Research and Outreach Centre (BEROC).
He is the Chief Editor of "ECOVEST" economic magazine, Co-Editor of the bulletin "Economy of Belarus: trends, analysis, forecasts", "Economic Review: Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine," and "The Belarusian Monthly Economic Review".
Research interests: monetary economics, transition economics, applied econometrics, macroeconomic modelling and forecasting.
