Career 

In the years 1979-1990 he played in Dynamo (Minsk), in 1990-1991 - in Podhale (Nowy Targ, Poland), in 1991-1996 - in the farm teams of NHL.

In 1996-2003 he worked as coach of the Junactva children's and youth school of the Olympic reserve . Since 2003 he was head coach of the hockey club Junactva-Minsk. Under his coaching the team won the championship of Belarus six times. He also was the head coach of: in 2001-2003 junior (U-18) team, in 2003-2005 youth (U-20) team, in 2003-2005 and in 2009-2010 national hockey team of Belarus. In 2009-2010 he was head coach of the Ukrainian national ice hockey team.

He also was former coach of the hockey team of the President of Belarus and is believed to be a friend of the family of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
