From 1998 onwards he began to write for the independent press, worked as a publicist. In October 1995 he joined the Belarusian Popular Front 'Revival'. From February 1997 he worked as the Chairman of the Youth Faction of the BPF in Minsk. Was Co-Chair of the BPF (1997), then Chairman (1999) of the 'Young Front' - the largest national-democractic youth organisation. Was then organiser of the youth public initiative 'Youth Revival', responsible for the development and organisation of Belarusian intellectual game show quizzes, competitions, discos and concerts for pupils and students across the country. Was Chairman of the 'Belarusian Young Conservatives' voluntary association. Founder of 'The Belarushchiny Show' education project, organiser of the 'DJ's of Revival' course, founder of the 'Changes!' coalition of Belarusian democratic youth organisations as well as the interfaith 'Christian Initiative' group. From 1999-2003 - was Deputy Chairman of the BPF Party. From 1999 to 2004 - was Head of the 'Young Front'. In 2005-2007 and 2010-2013, he was serving a sentence of imprisonment for political activity. He is currently one of the three Co-Chairs of the 'Belarusian Christian Democracy' Party.
