Jakabson Aliaksandr Sierafimavič

1973-1974. - worked for a building trust in the Murmansk region,
1974-1975 - served in the Soviet army,
1975-1985 - worked for construction organisations in Homiel, holding positions ranging from foreman to the chief engineer of the specialised Construction Department of Homielprambud,
1985-1986 - Instructor at the Department of Construction of the Homiel Regional Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus,
1986-1997 - Chairman of the Executive Committee of Svietlahorsk City Council, City Executive Committee,
1997-2001 - First Deputy Chairman of the Homiel Region Executive Committee, Chairman of the Homiel City Executive Committee,
2001-2010 - Chairman of the Homiel Region Executive Committee,
2010-18.08.2014 - Chairman of the Belarusian State Control Committee.
2014-2017 - Aide to the President - Chief Inspector for Minsk.

In 2017 retired.

He was a deputy of the Supreme Soviet (1990-1995, 1995-1996) and the House of Representatives of the National Assembly (1996-2000). He was also Member of the Council of the Republic of the third and fourth convocations, and member of the Budget and Finance Commission
