He was deputy head of the Zavadski district of Minsk, and deputy chairman of the Minsk city executive committee. He also headed the Minsk city handball federation. In 2009-2010 he worked as Deputy Minister of Trade. From 2012 to 2015 he worked as minister-counselor at the Belarusian Embassy in Moscow.
