In 1996-1998 he worked in various positions at the General Prosecutor's Office in Minsk. In 1998-1999 he was Attorney for the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus supervising the investigations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. In 1999-2003 - he was Senior Prosecutor of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus responsible for overseeing the investigation of criminal cases and the implementation of laws to combat organised crime and corruption.

In 2003-2004 - he was Deputy Head of the Department for the Supervision of the Implementation of Legislation to Combat Organised Crime and Corruption of the Republican Prosecutor's Office responsible for the fight against organised crime and corruption. In 2004-2005 - he was Head of the Department for the Implementation of Legislation to Combat Organised Crime and Corruption of the Republican Prosecutor's Office.

In 2005-2006 - he was Head of the Department for Legal Affairs, Information and Public Relations of the Republican Prosecutor's Office. From 2006 to 2010 he worked as Head of the Legal Expertise Department of the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus. In 2010-2011 - he was Deputy General Prosecutor of the Republic of Belarus. In 2012-2013 - he worked as Deputy Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus. He was then appointed Chairman of the State Committee for Forensic Investigations of the Republic of Belarus on April 22nd 2013.
