His company ‘Beltechexport’ is engaged in the production and sale of weapons. Following the introduction in 2011 of EU sanctions against Piefcijeŭ (his company), he sold ‘Beltechexport’.According to financial analyst Siarhei Chaly he put in his place another person to get the sanctions against it lifted. In 2014 the EU removed Piefcijeŭ from its ‘black list’. He also owns assets in companies engaged in real estate, telecommunications, gaming and the alcohol business.
