In 1970-1977 worked at the Minsk Automatic Production Line Plant. From 1977 to 1998 at the Minsk Pilot Plant of technological equipment, and during his last 11 years there he was the director of the company.

In 1998-2002 he served as the Deputy Minister of Industry, and in 2002-2015 he has been the First Deputy.

He died in 2015.
