He worked as deputy director for foreign economic relations of the small enterprise Dubl V, was head of the department for foreign economic relations of the production and commercial firm UTV, then economist of the planning and economic department of the joint venture Frebor in Barysaŭ.

After graduation from the post-graduate studies of the Belarusian State Economic University, he was an advisor to the chairman of the Mahilioŭ regional executive committee. Since 2006, he held the post of Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of the open joint-stock company Belshyna.

In 2011-2017 he was Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
