Career 

From 1989 to 1991 was a trainee judge and acting judge of the Minsk District Court. In 1991-2001 worked as a judge and chairman of the Minsk District Court and Zaslavl Court.

From 2001 to 2005 was Deputy Minister of Justice and a member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Belarus.

Over the next five years headed the National Centre for Legislative Activity of the Republic of Belarus.
