Career 

From 1981 to 1982 he was a master at Construction department, in 1982-1990 Worked for the Youth Communist League and the Communist Party of Belarus. In 1990-2003 held various positions at the construction company MAPID.

From 2003 to 2006 served as a director of the Department of Capital Construction of the Minsk city executive committee, in 2006-2007 headed the administration of the Frunze district of Minsk.

From 2007 to 2010 was Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee and in 2010 to 2014 he served as Chairman.
