He began his career as an intern at the prosecutor's office and from 1995 to 2015 he worked in different positions there.

For five years he was head of the prosecutor's office in Pinsk district. In 2015 under the Edict of the President of Belarus of November 10, 2015 №456 he was appointed to the position of Chairman of the Investigation Committee of Belarus.
