In 1966-1974 worked as a lecturer, then docent at the Department of Philosophy of Belarusian State University. In 1974-1980 worked in the Center for Social Development and Humanitarian Affairs (New York - Vienna). In 1980-1987 Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy, since 1987 head of the department of history of philosophy and logic of Belarusian State University. In 1992-2014 - rector of the European Humanities University (Lithuania).
