From 2005 to 2012 he served as commander of a separate mobile brigade, chief of the operations department - deputy chief of staff of the Operational Command, Chief of Staff - First Deputy Commander of the Operational Command. In 2012-2014 - Commander of the North-Western Operational Command.
In 2012 he was elected to the Minsk regional council of deputies as Barysaŭ representative.
