Čubryk has worked in the IPM Research Center since December 1999.

In 2000-2004 he taught economics at the Belarusian State University, and in 2009 at the European Humanities University.

From 2007 to 2012 he was the Deputy Director of CASE Belarus (Poland), in 2009 a leading researcher of CASE - Center for Social and Economic Research (Poland), from December 2009 to January 2010 an Economic Advisor in the Ministry of Economic Development of Azerbaijan within the Advisory Service for Macroeconomic Management and Institutional Reform project, implemented by CASE; from February 2011 to January 2012 he was head of the project.

Since 2014 he has been a Member of the Advisory Board of the National Bank of Belarus.
